AiM Mastery: The Diaphragms Of The Body
Recently, I participated in an Anatomy in Motion Mastery webinar with Gary Ward that discussed the body's diaphragms. And, as one of my fellow AiM colleagues said, “it was lit!” Well, I’m not sure about this, but it was pretty awesome. Let’s jump into a few highlights and takeaways from the talk.
First, you likely know you have a diaphragm in your chest that helps you breathe, right? Well, if we expand this diaphragmatic thinking throughout the whole body, you actually have closer to six or seven mechanisms that operate similarly to your breath (e.g., the pelvic floor), and there are a few that might surprise you.
More to come.
